Let me update the information on orange sky train line a little as I saw the progress every day from my terrace and today I have an opportunity to inspect the construction site.

The construction of temporary project office and land leveling for underground train tunnel are started in the area between Cultural Center to MRTA Orange Line, on the Eastern side (Cultural Center – Minburi) Suwintawong (22.57 km). The line is composed of 17 stations; 10 underground stations and 7 stations on elevated track according to Master Plan. This line will connect the Eastern and Western sides of Bangkok: from Bangkhunnon-Suwintawong.

I believe that, once the construction is completed, it will be a very important route. The people living in Eastern side of the city will easy come to the center conveniently. In the future, it will be connected to the Western side; the route will pass CBD area and greatly shortens transportation time. This route is considered an important route that makes the transportation more convenient. I will see a huge number of developers come to purchase the buildings in Ramkamhaeng area and construct condominiums. The orange line is expected to be operated in 2023. Please wait a little.

Last but not least, I am quite sad that there will no longer be a green garden like this. However, for the growth of the city, we have to accept it. I still have a little hope that MRTA can keep green zone in this area. as much as possible in order to be a green lung of the city.
